THESES BROKEN REMAINS (EST)
These Broken Remains is a band formed by two friends, which for a long time consisted of only two guitars and a drummer jamming. When bassguitar and vocals were added, the band started to shape up and in the end of 2005 the final line-up was formed. In the August of 2007, These Broken Remains presented their debut album "No Forever After" and have deloped more and more complex, during and after the recording. TBR have big plans for the future and are planning to stay at one or another shape for some time.

STEM (EST)
More than a year ago, Stem made the decision to give no more performances and start again from square one. The reasons for this were discontent with our material, absence of necessary gear and a lack of vision for the future. What started in the fall of 2005 was a journey. We set out to find our face and sound. Along the way we did not find willing swedish nymphettes and unopened cans of cold beer as we had hoped, but instead a series of rather nasty obstacles. Many bottles were emptied, many broken. Edmar had already left the band before, leaving Dave the only one responsible for vocals. After a while, it was decided that Raido should switch from guitar to bass. And Kõnd left. So Stem was a four-piece. But the situation appeared to be temporary as well. By that time Kristjan and Elijah had joined a side project called Macondo, which was lead by old friends Kaur and Mart. In time Macondo proved to be more vital than Stem. By the Summer of 2006 it had become evident, that 2 bands was not a way to continue. Blood was shed, virgins were sacrificed, souls were sold and balls were shaven all in the name of darkness and ultimate evil of the allmighty keeper of all knowledge in the universe and beyond and everything. Kaur became the guitarist and Mart the vocalist. We have not found the nymphettes that we set out for, but we are goddamn fucking tired of hiding in the shade. So here we are, good as old, but with a new stupid grin on our faces.

THE BLACKOUT (LV)
The Blackout hails from the underground scene of Riga, Latvia. It's a side-project and a main project for some of the members, while it creates a unique motherfucker of it's own. Influenced by low-tuned stoner rock & the whole heavy-as-fuck New Orleans metal scene, raised by metal gods Sabbath, Zeppelin, Kiss, THE BLACKOUT creates a heavy, sludged out, yet at times soulful and flowing sound of their own.

"1/2H 1/2W – an esoteric music for avant-garde theatre." In it's music represents overall nihilism and absurdness of material existence. Mentally influenced by Hinduism, satanism and post-war period academic dadaism but by its own creativity cultivates self-supposed direction as DOWNISM that expresses it self with overact emotionality, non-prospective mood shift and imitation. The soundscapes mostly are created in impovisation manner disregarding most of the musical laws and borders. Frequently accepting musical principles that are within fully controled, particular sound flow that in result creates a fatal feel of chaos, nonsense, emptiness or meditative and peaceful state of soul.

ANGERVOICE (LV)
The beginning of Angervoice is found in 2003 when two youngsters decided to make a band. They succeeded, but it was not as easy as it might sound, because Angervoice had to replace two drummers and vocalists. Finally, the seeking has ended and the band is complete. Style – metal/nu metal.

INTRICATE (LV)
Latvian band «INTRICATE» was founded in Ventspils by Ugis, Gatis and Einars in 2005. Soon after they were joined by guitarist Kaspars and band begun playing in local underground shows. Band played in various concerts and festivals. In Autumn 2006 band was joined by rhytm guitarist and vocalist Jurgis and band continued playing in their hometown and elsewhere in Latvia. In the beginning of 2007 band changed it's name to «INTRICATE» and recorded 6 songs all by themselves. During these two years bands style has changed a lot because of growing experience, skills and changing of bandmembers' musical taste. In the summer of 2007 band is going through its first major lineup change, with Aigars joining as the new vocalist. In the very beginning of 2008 «INTRICATE» began playing shows in the new lineup.

The band was established at the beginning of 2006. It has experienced changes of members and now Mango is settled. ”ManGO” has played at different concerts and festivals around Latvia with bands like ”P.O.Box (FR), ”Guadalajara”(AT). Also with bands that will play at Fonofest IV ”All Day Long” and ”Guerilla Habbits”. This year ”ManGO” is planning to play some concerts abroad. Band plays in ska/pop punk style.

The band was founded in 2006 in Riga. Stylistic band moves forward to modern metal/metalcore.
After ”Sandtrout” recorded demo, they played several concerts in Latvia and Estonia. They have played together with ”Caliban”, ”Stigmata” and ”Korea”. This summer they have planned to play concerts in Latvia and Estonia.

SideMind is singing about Love, Peace, Anger, Relations and most important thing in world - FAMILY.
INSOMNIA (LV)
”Insomnia” has existed for some time now. They like experimenting. Style is not specific and it is hard to put it in frames, but basically it is screamo + hc + something you have to hear by yourself. Musical influences are so different that there is no point counting, we just like to listen to ourselves and make our own sound – atmosphere.

Band has joined together completely different people from diverse time zones. At different era they would not make a band, but contemporary inflation pressed these politically active youngsters to make their own band so as to give message to the outside world.
They played their best concert at Fonoclub and broke the hearts of girls from all over the world by telling that it was their last show. But the weight of fame was too heavy, “Guerilla Habits” could not resist the temptation of millions of dollars and shouting fans, so they play again.
Style is full of fun, punk/ska with crazy dance rhythms, everyone participates, even the members of the band.
EMANON (LV)
Band was created in 2004 in Saldus its music could be described as progressive hardcore. ”Emanon” has released album „Behind The Walls Of Melody” (2006, Oldschool Kids) and now they are making material for the new album. This could be released at the end of this year. The band has experienced changes of the members so the style has changed during the years.
In 2006 „Emanon” went on a journey to France, Germany and Poland. In September they plan to go to the Wild West in order to get inspiration.
BLUEPRINT (LV)
We live, think, work and play in Riga. Our music is light and at the same time dynamic. It has certain amount of mysticism and emotionality. Now the band consists of four musicians, who come from different edges of Latvia. We are different people with diverse musical taste and we have various musical experiences. Yet the wish of playing intelligent, dynamic and emotional music unites us.
LESSIE THE CAT (LV)
We are not the kind of band that plays together for many years. In fact, „Lassie The Cat” was established in winter of 2006, when Marko (vocal) joined us. Lately one of our guitarists left the band and a new one came instead. It was stupid to lose a member but, on the other hand, we have many new ideas. Talking about style we try to mix everything that comes in mind. For a month now we are working on a new programme – we are going to play simpler and catchier music. Probably we will play some of the new songs at Fonofest IV

VERSUS (LV)
The band was given birth to by a group of creative people back in 2003. The need to evolve has led to some changes over these years, but the core mission - to grow by means of inspiration, calculation and experiment - remains. By taking our music beyond the usual limitations set to many bands by a need to become rich, famous and signed by a huge recording company, we have become free in terms of what to play and how to play it. Our thoughts, feelings, intuition turn into music, held back only by our own, constantly increasing, knowledge, as well as respect for other band members` opinion. With that in mind, don`t expect our songs to be a cacophony of unrelated sounds, because even a very impulsive form of art like music relies deeply on strict, mainly mathematical, rules. Since 2004 we have been writing music and playing only for our own pleasure, but, starting from 2007, we will start to share our minds` musical journeys with everyone interested to hear them.

It is when our performance is planned. Too loud music could do harm to listeners, who had been very active the day before (especially to their heads). We guarantee aspirin for the first ten listeners, for all the others – music for soul.
