Frank Turner is going to perform at Fonofest
The popular folk-rock musician Frank Turner is going to perform with his band at Fonofest, which will take place on the 8th and 9th of July in Cēsis county, Uplandi.
Folk rock musician Frank Turner has spent the last three years actively performing and sharing his music with fans all over the world. This will be a very special performance because the artist performed at several concerts in Latvia including Fonofest 2006 during the beginning of his solo career. Due to his successful communication with listeners, simplicity and friendliness, Frank Turner's career has noticably improved over these five years.

2010 was a particularly successful year for the musician: he went on a tour of the United States and Canada together with Flogging Molly as well as on a tour of the United Kingdom together with Green Day. Later he also celebrated in a series of solo concerts the presentation of a live record and his second DVD "Take To The Road". The regular and unforgettable performances at the biggest festivals of Europe such as Glastonbury, Reading and Download are providing bigger boosts to Frank Turner's carrer every year, which is also supported by the fact that he has been nominated for the prestige NME Award Best Solo Artist.
Frank is planning to release his fourth studio album "England Keep My Bones" in collaboration with the record label "Epitaph Records" shortly before Fonofest.

It has already been informed that the festival "Fonofest" on the 8th and 9th of July in Uplandi will be held for the seventh year. More than 40 bands from eight different countries including bands such as „P.O. Box" (Fr), „The Burning Hell" (Can), "Dzelzs vilks", "Pienvedēja piedzīvojumi", "Pete Anderson & The Swamp Shakers" and many more will perform on four stages.
